Dr.Wajih Syma is an experienced General Practitioner with a strong focus on preventative care and chronic disease management. He completed his GP training through the Rural Stream WAGPET program (2002–2005) and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005. He also holds a Fellowship with the Australian Medical Acupuncture College (2013), incorporating acupuncture into his holistic approach to patient care.

Dr Syma has special interests in child health and immunisation, chronic disease management, men’s health, seniors’ health services, and sexual health. He is particularly dedicated to supporting patients with conditions such as diabetes and providing comprehensive health assessments to promote long-term wellbeing.

He practices evidence-based medicine with a focus on safe and appropriate treatment pathways, including a preference to avoid prescribing medications of dependency unless clinically necessary and supported by specialist care.

Dr Syma is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, allowing him to effectively communicate with a diverse patient community and provide culturally sensitive care.
